Welcome

The village of Collector once boasted five inns, of which the Historic Bushranger Hotel is the only one still operating. Within two decades of the crossing of the Blue Mountains, Collector was already a busy stop-over place for travelers, coaches, explorers & bushrangers.

Located just off the Federal highway, near the picturesque Lake George and its wineries, 40 minutes north of Canberra, 20 minutes south of Goulburn & just 2 1/2 hours from Sydney, the Bushranger Hotel is an historic landmark.

The Historic Hotel is a unique piece of history & its definitely worth a stop on your travels. A refurbished country pub with the perfect combination of modern day amenities with an 1860′s atmosphere.

Although there have been some additions to the exterior, the interior of the pub is virtually unchanged.

Accommodation

We welcome “Tradies” and can do meal, accommodation and packed lunches.

If you’re after a getaway for the weekend or just as somewhere to stay on your travels, the hotel offers both double and single room accommodation & dormitory style accommodation for group bookings.

Meals

The Hotel bases it’s menu on traditional pub fare.  It offers value for money and generous serving sizes.

We cater for all functions, car clubs, bike clubs, birthday parties, Christmas parties, hens & bucks nights, special occasions or just a get together with friends. We offer different function packages to suit your needs, no function is too big or small.
